Grapes of Mirth “Goes Troppo” in Townsville once again!

After one of the most legendary Grapes of Mirth gigs last time it came to Townsville, Australia’s premier wine and comedy festival returns to NQ this October, this time taking over The Ville lawns.

Grapes of Mirth are partnering with NAFA and bringing a HUGE line up of Australia’s most popular and most critically acclaimed comedians.

Thank God You’re Here host, Have You Been Paying Attention? regular and three-time nominee for Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival Celia Pacquola is bringing the best of times to the Troppo stage. 

Host of RuPaul Down Under and the 2022 winner of Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Rhys Nicholson, who will tell more jokes in 20 minutes than previously thought humanly possible.

One of Australia’s most in demand comedians, QLD local, the Internet’s mum and the Winner of Director’s Choice Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival Mel Buttle is always best on ground at a Grapes of Mirth show.

The 2023 winner of Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival Gillian Cosgriff, will be on the keys for a musical set befitting the beauty of the location. 

Also tearing it up with his beautiful mullet and infectious comic energy will be 2025 nominee for Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival Brett Blake.

Accompanying all the award-winning comedians is Grapes of Mirth Head Clown and MC Merrick Watts.

DJ Pedro Moshman is spinning the decks and bringing the party, and after the show The Ville are putting on the Footy, it’s pretty much the perfect Sunday afternoon.
