The Ville Resort-Casino has announced it will extend its hero sponsorship with the Townsville Fire for another two years, committing an incredible $1 million in support. This renewed agreement secures the Fire’s future through to the 2027/28 WNBL season, continuing a partnership that has been instrumental in the team’s success—both on the court and in the community.

Townsville Fire CEO Sam Pascoe described the backing as “absolutely game-changing,” enabling the club to plan long-term, strengthen programs, and inspire the next generation of athletes across North Queensland. The Ville’s Executive Chairman Chris Morris said the decision was easy: “The Fire aligns with our values, and we’re proud to support their on and off-court success.” Our very own Kimberley Wilkinson, GM of Marketing & Community, added: “We’re thrilled to keep backing the Fire as they represent Townsville with passion and pride.”
