Do you have a passion for the hospitality industry and experience leading a team? We are seeking highly motivated and driven Duty Managers to join the leadership team within Casino Bars on a permanent full-time basis.

The Role

As a Food and Beverage Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage operations in our Casino Bars, which includes Spin Café, Sports Bar and our Premium Gaming Rooms. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail for ensuring high-quality service, and passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences will be essential for success in this role.

About You

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, including varying restaurant or bistro service periods, and strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Strong knowledge of barista made coffee, cocktails, beer, and wines is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with Stock Management
  • Up to date knowledge of TAB and Keno services, processes, and legislation, along with previous experience operating high volume TAB and Keno operations.
  • You hold current qualifications including Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment, Responsible Management of Licensed Venue Certificate and Liquor Approved Manager License or willingness to obtain.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with premium guests, along with previous experience responding to and resolving disputes relating to the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications related to food and beverage operations.
  • Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
